System Administrator

Job Description

  • Support on Computer Services (Hardware and Software), Printers, WAN, LAN connectivity, and other Peripherals for Head Office and Branches.
  • Responsible for Windows servers, File Server, AD, DHCP, DNS, and GPO implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and health checks.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Assessing computer hardware, software and recommending required upgrades to the management when necessary.
  • Hands-on management and monitoring of all Microsoft installed systems and infrastructure for network performance and integrity.
  • Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment and working well under pressure.
  • Collaborating with external suppliers to ensure that the system works effectively.
  • Perform other tasks as designated.
  • Guided and mentored junior IT team members to further develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Report to duties and responsibilities assigned by or the Sr. Engineer (or) the Unit Leader.

Job Requirements

  • Any Graduate. (Preferably Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or IT Equivalent. )
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related IT field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in managing physical servers, virtual servers, and storage systems
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Windows server, Hyper-V, ESXi, vRA, vROPS, and so on. (NSX, NFV experience is an added advantage)
  • Strong familiarity with the Windows operating system platform, especially Windows 10 and 11
  • Preferably with hands-on experience with Office 365, including Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
  • Experience with Microsoft’s modern workplace solutions, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft AD
  • Excellent personal organization, ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
