Road to Recover and Rebuild
It was on March 28, 2025, when the ground beneath us shifted. In seconds, homes were reduced to rubble, communities were thrown into chaos, and lives were changed forever. For many, uncertainty loomed — not just about what was lost, but about what would come next.
In the days that followed, we did not just watch from afar. We listened to stories of survival, stood beside families picking up the pieces, and helped turn fear into action. Because for us at AYA SOMPO, insurance has never been just about claims — it’s about care.
From the first moment to every moment after, we have been there — not only to restore what’s gone, but to help rebuild stronger than before. During this difficult time, we’ve been walking alongside the people of Myanmar from day one — through Relief, Recovery, and Rebuild. And we are not stopping there.

In the immediate aftermath, we partnered with the Ayeyarwady Foundation to deliver critical relief — from medical assistance and emergency supplies to safe shelters for those who needed them most.
