Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation, verification, and processing of insurance claims and related documents.
  • Support claims officers in managing claim files and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between claimants, insurance agents, and other relevant parties.
  • Track and follow up on claim progress to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare routine reports on claim status, pending issues, and operational metrics.
  • Assist in data entry and updating claims database with accurate information.
  • Help in organizing claim files and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Claims team, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documents and information.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries related to claims.
  • Assist in identifying operational improvements to enhance claims processing efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related administrative role is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance claim procedures and terminology.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
