This policy provides coverage for Total Loss of Goods only and the insured can obtain compensation up to the amount of sum insured for total loss of goods during transportation.

Premium
Premium is calculated on insured value (C +10%) and the rating varies according to the type of cargo, voyage and the season of the trip.

Policy Term
Single Voyage
• The vehicle must be driven by the driver who has the driving license.
• Motor vehicle must have the legal license.
• Premium must be paid including stamp fees.
• The loss will indemnify between the starting and end of the journey.
• If the loss occurs, the owner of the property must try hard to save and transport the property, for doing these the owner of the property can demand the expenses from the Insurance Company.
1. What kind of documents are needed to be insured ?
Ans: i. Proposal
ii. Copy of Invoice List /Packing List / Bill of Lading
iii. Copy of Vehicle Registration Certificate
iv. Copy of Vehicle Transport License
v. Copy of TLR Registration & TLR Transport License (If any)
vi. Copy of Driver "E" License

Ans: i. General Cargo
ii . Dangerous Cargo
iii . Fragile cargo
3. What are the types of cover in Marine Hull Insurance?
Ans: Coverage are total loss only (ICC-C )1.1.82 and partial loss in Inland Transit Insurance.
4. How long does it take to produce policy?
Ans: i. Normally, it takes about an hour if the documents are all set.
ii. If the insurer needs to visit survey, it may take from one day to one week depends on the survey site.
5. What is the premium Rate in Inland Transit Insurance?

6. How long is the policy period?
Ans: The policy period is only for single voyague. Policy coverage starts from date of departure port to date of arrival at destination port. (Exclude loss or damage incurred while cargo loading/unloading)
7. What is the coverage in Inland Transit Insurance?

iii. Collision or Contact of conveyance with external object.
8. What is the non-coverage for Inland Transit Insurance ?
Ans: i. Loss or Damage incurred while carrying non-compliance cargo

10. How long does it take to receive claim?
Ans: Depending on the process, compensation is resolved as soon as possible.
11. How many times can be claimed for Inland Transit Insurance ?
Ans: Only one time can be claimed because this is the single voyage type of insurance.
12. If there is any changes before departure date, what action do we need to do?
Ans: Customer need to inform AYA SOMPO Insurance and fill endorsement request letter.
13. What does the insured need to do for "Refund or Policy Cancel"?
Ans: Customer need to fill Cancellation Request Letter and bring to AYA SOMPO Insurance before the departure date.
