Due to the rapid and increasing spread of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar, The Irrawaddy Foundation is working to temporarily repurpose the Irrawaddy Bank Training School and National Football Academy (Yangon) as Quarantine Centers in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports.

A total of 109 people, including volunteers and Health Workers who are working hard to prevent COVID-19 infection will be accepted starting from 6 September 2020 and the Irrawaddy Foundation will take care of their accommodation and meals.
