The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry held an insurance license awarding ceremony for joint venture approval at Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.

AYA Myanmar General Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of AYA Myanmar Insurance Company Limited, and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc., obtained an approval to form a joint venture from the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry on November 28, 2019.

According to the partnership agreement, AYA Myanmar General Insurance Company Limited will be renamed AYA SOMPO Insurance Company Limited and the new company logo will be introduced in the market soon.
